Rimmel London 60 Seconds Princess Pink - REVIEW!

Ladies and Gentlemen have you ever looked for the perfect nude pink nail polish but never found the colour you were looking for? I can now say that I have found it and it is probably the most beautiful soft pink I have ever seen in nail varnishes.

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Princess Pink nail polish is the most beautiful pink you will ever find and it dries in literally 60 seconds!
I absolutely adore this nail polish, it is possibly the most versatile pink I have used as it can be used a few different ways.

  1. Use it as a base cote for other brighter/darker nail polishes
  2. Apply it over the top of another colour (one coat) and you have instantly made a pastel polish
  3. Apply 3 coats for the perfect pastel nude pink
RATE: 6/10
PRICE: $7.95
COMMENT: I love this nail varnish but it isn't for the time poor, this pretty pink does need a few coats before the colour becomes soil.

Redken 5th Avenue NYC For Men - Silver Charge Silver Shampoo - REVIEW!

Hello Sweets!

I have some wonderful news! I have finally found a silver/purple shampoo that doesn't feel like it is completely drying up my fried hair!! The Redken Silver Charge silver shampoo with steel lock technology is AMAZING!! This shampoo contains protein and yellowing neutralisers to tone greying/white hair by gradually reducing the yellow tones.

When I opened the bottle the first thing I noticed was how dark the shampoo was. This silver/purple shampoo is so pigmented that it really does tone your hair in 3 minutes. (My hair is platinum blond but I am slowly trying to get it to an almost white colour and this shampoo has dramatically changed my hair colour! I have no more yellow tones in my hair and they are taking longer and longer to come back!)

Now for the funny bit, this shampoo is made for greying/white haired men! ;)

DIRECTIONS:
(The bottle says to wear gloves but I don't as it doesn't stain my hands at all.) Apply to damp hair and leave in for 3 minutes then rinse. For a deeper colour deposit and a stronger conditioning apply the shampoo to towel-dried hair and leave in for a maximum of 5 minutes.

COST:
I bought my bottle at Hairhouse Warehouse for $25.50 but I think you could purchase this shampoo online or from another store for a cheaper price. (if you find it cheaper PLEASE leave a comment underneath with a link or info on where I can purchase it from!)

RATE: 7-8/10 (this is by far the best silver/purple shampoo I have used so far)
COMMENT: I do find this shampoo to be just a little bit drying on my hair but it is definitely worth a go if you are in the market for a different silver/purple shampoo. The only let down for this product is the bottle. It's hard plastic and only 300mL which, to me, is a little small for the cost.

Lime Crime - Lips

Lime Crime - tumblr
Lime Crime - Lipsticks
Just a heads up if you are looking for some nice, bright and highly pigmented colours for your lips then check out Lime Crime!

I have been using Lime Crime for the last three months and I have to say all of my lipsticks and glosses really amazing! You would be amazed at the amount of time these babies last on your lips, and for the price of them (even including postage) they are well within most makeup budgets!

Lime Crime have an 'interesting' collection of different shades, going from the blackest of blacks all the way through to the brightest of blue, orange and green! If you want to stand out in the crowd or get noticed by that special someone Lime Crime can offer you this. As Lime Crime is an American based cosmetics company I suggest you go onto the interweb to find the shade you are after!

PRICE: $18 - $22
RATE: 9.5/10
COMMENT: I am in love with all of the Lime Crime lipstick, but if on the odd occasion I have dry lips I have to make sure I lather them in lip balm before applying the lipstick. Other than that minor hiccup give Lime Crime a go!
