Redken 5th Avenue NYC For Men - Silver Charge Silver Shampoo - REVIEW!

Hello Sweets!

I have some wonderful news! I have finally found a silver/purple shampoo that doesn't feel like it is completely drying up my fried hair!! The Redken Silver Charge silver shampoo with steel lock technology is AMAZING!! This shampoo contains protein and yellowing neutralisers to tone greying/white hair by gradually reducing the yellow tones.

When I opened the bottle the first thing I noticed was how dark the shampoo was. This silver/purple shampoo is so pigmented that it really does tone your hair in 3 minutes. (My hair is platinum blond but I am slowly trying to get it to an almost white colour and this shampoo has dramatically changed my hair colour! I have no more yellow tones in my hair and they are taking longer and longer to come back!)

Now for the funny bit, this shampoo is made for greying/white haired men! ;)

DIRECTIONS:
(The bottle says to wear gloves but I don't as it doesn't stain my hands at all.) Apply to damp hair and leave in for 3 minutes then rinse. For a deeper colour deposit and a stronger conditioning apply the shampoo to towel-dried hair and leave in for a maximum of 5 minutes.

COST:
I bought my bottle at Hairhouse Warehouse for $25.50 but I think you could purchase this shampoo online or from another store for a cheaper price. (if you find it cheaper PLEASE leave a comment underneath with a link or info on where I can purchase it from!)

RATE: 7-8/10 (this is by far the best silver/purple shampoo I have used so far)
COMMENT: I do find this shampoo to be just a little bit drying on my hair but it is definitely worth a go if you are in the market for a different silver/purple shampoo. The only let down for this product is the bottle. It's hard plastic and only 300mL which, to me, is a little small for the cost.
