Let's talk about hair

Okay I am going to jump right in and say I love pastel hair, but as a natural chestnut brunette that has dyed her hair every shade of darker browns and blacks knows it is quite hard to get the white blond we need to have pastel hair! How do we conquer this barrier? We treat our hair with the wondrous Joico K-Pak Deep Penetrating Conditioner! This baby works wonders, but with every miracle treatment comes the not so miracle price tag, setting you back about $26.99 (aus dollars) from Hairhouse Warehouse.

Let's have a little look at the benefits of using Conditioner (so many pros and only a few cons really makes this product something to consider when you are next at the shops).
PRO:

  • full of protein that gradually nourishes hair repairing at a molecular level
  • by repairing the hair it makes it stronger
  • stronger hair resists damage against heat styling, sun and wind
  • hair doesn't feel greasy - this is because the conditioner only needs to stay in the hair for about two minutes and then can be washed out
CON:
  • expensive
FYI: for anyone who hates putting silicone products in their hair this Deep Penetrating Conditioner DOES have silicone in it BUT it is water soluble. This means that it has been chemically modified to be compatible with water.

HOW TO USE:
The Deep Conditioner is so easy to use that you hardly realise you are helping give your hair a 'facelift'.
Step One: Shampoo TWICE (shampoo #1 removes all of the dirt, shampoo #2 opens the hair making it ready to absorb the Deep Conditioner)
Step Two: Use the K-Pak Deep Penetrating Conditioner (you only need a 10 to 20 cent piece of Deep Conditioner), wait two to three minutes and wash out the Conditioner
Step Three: Apply normal conditioner, lather and leave in hair for twenty seconds and wash out

RATE: 9/10
COMMENT: I have only used the K-Pak Deep Penetrating Conditioner a few times after bleaching my hair, but I have noticed some major improvements in my bleached hair.
